V1 Church is a religious, nonprofit organization that was founded in 2017 in New York City, by Mike Signorelli and his wife, Julie. [1] [4] [9]
Its goal is to become a church similar to the one described in the Bible and to encourage people to become what they were created for. [2]
As of November 2020, the church has more than 3,000 members who share their experiences, encourage each other and help each other through Sunday services, smaller groups that meet throughout the week, service to the church and community, and V1 Church’s Facebook group. [3]
V1 College and Leadership Academy
Mike Signorelli also launched a school of ministry, named V1 College, and an online school of leadership, called Leadership Academy. [5]
The Class starting in the fall of 2020 had more than 40 students enrolled.
V1 Church has its own clothing line named V1 New York. [6]
Proceeds from selling the apparel are used to help those in need, not only in the United States, but in Latin America, Eastern Europe, and other parts of the world as well. [7]
According to the Vents Magazine, the members of V1 Church have donated over $300,000 worth of gifts to homeless shelters in NYC from 2017 to 2020. [8]
V1 Church operates in Queens and Long Island and is also available online through YouTube, Facebook, and the V1 Church website. [10] [11]
